Have a Little Faith
Filmed in Detroit, the television movie Mitch Albom’s Have a Little Faith makes its national debut this Sunday, November 27 at 9 p.m. (EST) on ABC. The Hallmark Hall of Fame movie is based on the Detroit Free Press columnist’s #1 bestselling book and features Michigan locations including I AM My Brother’s Keeper Ministries, Ford Field, the Detroit Free Press building and the Masonic Temple.
“The city of Detroit, the people of Detroit and the spirit of Detroit play such an important role in this movie,” said Carrie Jones, director of the Michigan Film Office. “This is a great family film for the holidays with a message that rings true and a host of terrific Michigan locations.”
An independent film impresario - Sam Logan Khaleghi’s writing, directing and producing credits include the upcoming character drama APPROACHING MIDNIGHT featuring Jana Kramer (co-star of CW’s ‘One Tree Hill’); His freshman effort into the world of cinema came with his crime-drama LOVE IS A THIEVES' GAME which was shot during college years on location in Detroit, Michigan as well as New York City. In the world of television, Sam served as associate producer on the season finale (8th season) of MTV's Emmy winning series MADE; As thespian he made his television debut with a small role in Lifetime TV Networks PRAYERS FOR BOBBY * starring Sigourney Weaver and appeared in the season finale of Touchstone Pictures' Television's DETROIT 1-8-7. He can currently be seen in television commercials for the national ‘Pure Michigan’ campaign.
Sam is a graduate of the Master of Science in Communication Management program at Northwestern University. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communication from the University of Michigan - Dearborn and studied at the prestigious Guildhall School of of Music and Drama in London, England.
